THE RULES out of character 01. Be kind and respectful to all memebers, guests, and staff. 02. We require proper grammar through out the site. Please try to use it the best of your ability. 03. This board is APP, account per person. Please do not make separate accounts for each character that you have.
graphics 01. Do not stretch the board. Signatures should not exceed 500 pixels in width. 02. Avatars can be 100 pixels in width and 300 pixels in height or anything less than the stated dimensions.
in character 01. This site is a literate to advanced roleplay. However, we are rather relaxed about our word count. We believe in quality over quantity. Just please make sure to give the other roleplayer something to reply to. 02. If you have no muse, please don't post. It shows when posts are slapped together. Those aren't fun to reply to and they tend to kill threads. 03. We allow liquid time. Don't go overboard. 04. There is no godmodding (being ridiculously invincible), powerplay (controlling other's characters), auto-hits (choosing what attacks hit another character), or mary sues/gary stues (perfect characters that have no personality). 05. There is no meerkat-modified wolf speak. (Wolf speak is the use of words to mean something that they do not, such as "pelt" for fur, and "tassel" for tail.) 06. Please keep all content to a loose PG-13. Follow Proboard's TOS. 07. Rape is allowed, however, successful pregnancy in rape situations is not guaranteed. 08. Posts must be in third person and past tense. 09. You can not create a character that is less than a year old.
fights 01. In fights, we allow users to choose winners if they would like. However, if they do not want to, a staff member can be called in and they will judge for a winner. 02. For a staff member to judge a thread, there must be an even number of fight posts from each party. The staff member then awards each post a certain number of points based on roleplay quality and talent. A post can be awarded up to ten points. The points are then totaled. The winner has the most points. 03. Members are allowed to purchase certain items from the Trading Post that increase their points for fights.
meerkat behavior 01. Burrow-raids, mob wars, territory invasions, and the likewise do not have sets of defined rules. If mobs can not come to terms with who wins territory, call in a staff member to judge in the same format as individual fights. Purchases from the Trading Post still count in these battles. 02. Infanticide is common among meerkats, especially meerkats that are not born to the dominant pair. If your meerkat is less than four days old, it can be freely killed by another 'kat. However, you can purchase protection from the Trading Post. Although, a subordinate who kills pups is put at high risk for eviction. You may only kill up to four pups every three months. Do not use this as a chance to get back at roleplayers that you hate.
